There’s a confusing range of Fatsos: the original Fatso Jr, the Fatso EL7X (like this one) with the Eleven preset , the first Kush-modified UBK Fatso and the later Wave Distribution UBK Fatso. They differ in detail but they all sound wonderful

Gregory Scott’s Tweaker approaches the subject of compression on pure sonic terms, rather than an exercise in setting attack & release times. It’s as much a colouration device as a compressor so is perfectly suited to modern recording styles

It takes time to get to grips with the Tweaker – there’s no concept of “too much”, just tweak away till you hear the sound you like, then hit the bypass button to hear the difference. If it sounds over the top, use the Mix control to blend the dry & effect signal to get exactly where you want to be…

The Tweaker may be destined to be a modern classic like the Distressor. I haven’t spent enough time with it yet to predict if that’s the case, but it’s a contender!
