Description
The MKS-50 is the rackmount version of the Alpha Juno, with the same oscillators & setup, but it adds features like programmable chord memories and the ability to store patch settings (velocity, panning, detune, etc) with presets
It’s a warm, smooth-sounding synth that excels at pads & basses but iscapable of a lot more. The sonic palette is really only limited by your inagination
It has 6-note polyphony, 64 user and 64 preset sounds, stereo output and 5-pin midi including velocity sensitivity. The rare PG300 programmer is useful for editing sounds but there are lots of software solutions that do the same
I had one in the 1980s and it was my favorite synth for pads & smooth sounds. This is one to buy & keep – you will regret it if you sell it!
In excellent condition with mnimal marks. 100 Volt Japanese-market model, it will need a transformer for use in the UK / EU. The backup battery has been replaced. Tested & working 100%. Photos show the synth for sale
