One of my favourite delay lines, the Effectron has a quirky charm that makes it so much more entertaining than the typical Japanese digital delay.

Each session with an Effectron is an experiment, a voyage into the unknown. What happens when the modulation section is turned to maximum on a sampled sound? Probably not what you were expecting, but an inspiration nevertheless. Hail the Effectron!

This is the latest iteration of our modifications for the Micro Limiter. In addition to our usual recap and release time mods, this version has a switchable high-pass filter in the sidechain. This helps reduce the effect of low frequencies on the amount of compression

It’s not a perfect mod – it’s possible to make the limiter choke with too much input level when the filter is engaged – so use it appropriately, or bypass it using the back-panel switch

The Swiss Army Knife of compressors, the DPR-402 may be a tough unit to master, but it’s worth every second you spend with it

Frequency-conscious limiting, compression, de-essing, ducking – it’s all there and it all works beautifully

The biggest problem with the DPR-402 is finding a nice one – most are usually tired, battered ex-rental units that have been on the road for thirty years. Which makes this one all the more unusual – a virtually unmarked example, all original, tested & working 100%

I don’t think you’ll find another one!

Rare rackmount two-channel Trident compressor. From the Triad (Trident Audio Developments) era at Shepperton Studios, this is a FET limiter / compressor based on the designs used for Trident consoles

This has the same knurled aluminium knobs you’ll find on the Series 80 and Fleximix consoles, so it’s pure 1970s

I was expecting this to be pretty brutal in operation, but it turns out that – at least at lower ratios – it’s quite subtle. To make it grind, tweak the ratio rather than the threshold and adjust attack & release to suit. VCA compressors can’t do this…

In very good condition. Recapped in our workshops, tested & sounding great

Another of our refurbished Deltalab Effectrons. This is an Effectron II ADM 1024 with 1 second of delay time at full bandwidth. Infinite Repeat means it can sample a chunk of audio and play it back in a loop. The sample can be pitch-shifted by changing the Delay Factor, and modulated with the VCO section

In excellent condition with minimal marks. It has a recapped power supply, repainted case and new UK power plug. Packed & ready to ship

The 622B is a beautifully-built, flexible equaliser from the late 1970s. More accurately described as a two-channel equaliser, it has separate controls for each channel and individual bypass switches for each band

Refurbished in our workshops and totally original bar the power switch which was replaced with one of the same style

Supplied with a set of XLR pigtails neatly attached to the case
