Legendary hardware sequencer from German modular specialists Doepfer. Designed in conjunction with Kraftwerk, the MAQ 16/3 has 3 rows of 16 pots for instant sequence editing plus software-based tools to create, edit & loop sequences
This is a late version of the MAQ 16/3 with V3 software (the most up-to-date version) & three sets of CV & gate outputs. No longer available from Doepfer, this is a collector’s item. In excellent used condition with virtually no rack rash or marks. Tested & working 100%
The MAQ 16/3 speaks Midi and CV so is equally at home in Midi setups, modular rigs and old-school synths with control voltage & gate inputs

“In the past I made whole songs with just using the MAQ. Using a certain style of sequencer is leading you to a certain style of music. So, for me that was a great experience. You don’t have to save your sequences, just use a midi sequencer and record the notes/controllers. You are also able to shift sequences this way very easy or transpose them. Not that you cannot do this with the unit itself, but this is how I use it”
