Hardware midi sequencer from German synth pioneers MAM. Compact desktop unit. The SQ 16 has thirteen drum trigger channels and three midi note channels and stores sequences in blocks. Blocks are made up of patterns, songs & chains
It’s a classic, simple step sequencer of the kind that’s hard to find now. Ideal for drum programming & stringing together song structures from patterns. It syncs to external midi clock and has clock out (switchable on / off) so can control external devices. It also sends DIN sync to run older drumboxes & etc
