Description

Inspired by and recreating the TB-303 the TB-3 uses Roland’s ACB technology to reproduce the sounds of the original “acid” TB-303 bass synth and has a further 133 bass sounds to experiment with

The TB-3 recreates the sawtooth & square wave oscillators and 18 db/Octave filter of the TB-303 and the pressure-sensitive touch pads make programming easy

The sequencer has up to 32 steps and 64 user patterns can be stored. The 134 patches are presets and are separate to the sequences, but user patterns can be locked with the sound preset attached

Roland says: “The TB-3 looks great, and is designed to work seamlessly with other products in the AIRA series. In addition, you can connect the TB-3 to your computer via USB to send and receive both audio and MIDI data, including MIDI clock information for syncing with external devices and other AIRA units” – so if you have other Aira kit like the MX-1 Mix Performer or the System-1 plugout synth, you can link them together to synchroinise them & transmit audio

“Acid For The 21st Century” – Sonicstate

“Reasonably priced, well-built and portable with 2-in/2-out USB Audio/MIDI interface. Contains authentic TB-303 emulations, other synth tones, effects and a 32-step sequencer. The large touchpad takes the headache out of programming and makes performing fun”

“Based on the wildly influential TB-303, the new TB-3 Touch Bassline is a performance-ready bass synthesizer with authentic sound and intuitive controls engineered to play. The TB-3 contains the unmistakable character of its predecessor, wrapped in a modern package with a pressure-sensitive touch pad that makes both playing and programming a total joy” – Roland

“The huge stereo sound includes generous low end, plenty of clarity, and classic screaming top end resonance, if the fancy takes you. The control interface makes use of volume, filter cut-off, resonance, accent amount and effects knobs to help you get to grips with your patterns and sounds”

“Although the TB-3 has a tough legacy to follow, every producer, whether they’re a beginner or more experienced, will find a world of creativity to be opened up with the TB-3”

In excellent used condition, almost unmarked. This TB-3 looks like new and comes in the original packing with power supply & etc. Photos show the TB-3 for sale. Tested & working 100%
