Vintage Korg synth module, the M1R is the rack version of the M1 keyboard that debuted in 1988. It was one of the first workstations, combining drums samples and synth sounds with onboard effects and a sequencer
I’m not as au fait with the M1R as the Roland romplers, but it’s quick & easy to use with a decent display. I fired it up and found my way round the basics pretty quickly
Like the DX7 and D50, it’s one of the classic synths that moulded pop music in the 80s. Perhaps not as ground-breaking as those two but still a classic
This a 100 Volt unit and will require a transformer for use in the UK / EU
In excellent condition with only minor marks. Refurbished with a new backup battery, reset to factory spec & cleaned & tested. Photos show the synth for sale
