The Matrix 6R synth is a 3U rackmount version of the M6 keyboard.
There’s plenty of software support for the Matrix 6 with sound editors & yet more presets available. These patches will work qwith the Matrix 6, 6R and the Matrix 1000

Sonically, it’s classic Oberheim with a warm, bright sound that cuts through mixes really well. I used to own a Matrix 6R – it was one of my absolute favourites and the Matrix 1000 brings it all back!
