Part of the small range of MXR rackmount effects, the MXR M-126 Flanger / Doubler is a rare beast with a big reputation. It’s an analogue device using bucket brigade devices (BBD) to create the delay used in the flanger / doubler effect. The effect can be swept using the built-in modulation section – like every other flanger – but the M-126 also has a “static” setting which can be varied manually. This allows for manual flanging or static peaks & nulls in the frequency spectrum as the delayed signal is mixed with the dry signal
This M-126 has been cleverly modified with an input level pot replacing the input jack
