Description
Early delay line / effects unit from Deltalab. I first ran across the DL-4 in a London studio in the early 1980s. The quirky interface, VCO oscillator and feedback controls promised lots and the DL-4 delivered…
It’s easy to produce simple repeats & long feedback trails, but the Deltalab excels at strange noises & deep, swept delay & pitch changes. As an inspiration box it’s superb – it’s odd enough to make every visit interesting
Inside the DL-4 looks to have been built by a different company to the Effectrons. It’s built to a much higher standard with a huge toroidal transformer, multiple voltage taps for different territories and stacked high-quality circuit boards. Definitely built to last
Tested & working 100% and in excellent used condition. Has a short power cable with an IEC socket – IEC power cable supplied on request
