11-Band analog vocoder from German company Music And More (MAM). The VF-11 has voice mic and line-level inputs plus a synth input for the carrier signal. It can be used as a standalone filterbank by not using the mic/ line input. A vocoder uses the voice signal as an envelope to modulate the carrier. The signal is fed through an 11-band filter to shape the sound. Final results are dependent on the carrier, and how much it has in the way of harmonics, the voice input & filter settings.
