Description
Rare 1980s harmonizer / effects / reverb processor from Korg. Comes complete with a remote control
This is the first DRV-3000 I’ve seen: it’s a 2U device, looking a bit like a Rev 7, and the remote control – with storage slot on the front panel – is pure 1980s. It has all the usual halls, plates and gated reverbs of an 80s effects unit, plus phasers and flangers, but it adds pitch-changing and two simultaneous effects. The two effects can be set in serial or parallel modes, and there’s a handy “single mon” button to solo the effect being edited
The remote control proves to be quite handy and, once you understand the way programs are edited & combined, it’s pretty quick to edit & save presets
It’s a rare & unusual device – I guarantee you won’t see another!
