The Dimension D is legendary – one of the finest chorus effects ever made. It’s unrivalled in the way it widens & spreads sounds across the stereo field and has been the secret weapon of mix engineers for years. There are plugin emulations available but nothing comes close to the sound of an original Dimension D
Describing the Dimension D as a chorus unit doesn’t really do it justice. It has the effect of widening sounds and putting them in stereo picture. It’s not a deep, chorusy device but a rather subtle effect that is smooth, warm and three-dimensional
Along with my GML Massenburg equaliser, it’s one of the few things I’ve owned, sold, and regretted selling
