Dimension D is one of the legendary Roland chorus effects. It’s unrivalled in the way it widens & spreads sounds across the stereo field. It’s been the secret weapon of mix engineers for years. There are plugin emulations available but nothing comes close to the real sound of a Dimension D
Describing the Dimension D as a chorus unit doesn’t really do it justice. It has the effect of widening sounds and putting them in stereo picture. It’s not a deep, chorusy device but a rather subtle effect that is smooth, warm and three-dimensional
