Description
Altec integrated mixer / preamplifier with five inputs and one mono output. These transistor Altec units have lots of mojo and a distinctive sound. Inputs use plug-in modules for mic level, mic with phantom power, line level & etc but blanking plugs can be used for simple line-level inputs
All channels have a speech / music switch for a basic EQ curve and the output has low & high-frequency EQ controls plus a bright / normal switch. Feed this into a 1612A or 1591A compressor and you have the ultimate mono drum rig!
This Altec mixer is being sold untested & as-seen: it may find its way into my prep queue at some point in the future, and emerge recapped & modified, but due to time constraints I am offering it as-is
