I bought this to convert into a compressor – it’s a nicely-made unit with a huge VU meter, three high-quality knobs & pots / switches and great front panel design. With some subtle changes it would make an excellent 1176 clone. When you add up the cost of a case, VU meter, knobs & switches you’ll see the logic of it. Or you could use it as an oscillator…
