Widely used as a lectern microphone, the C747 is a shotgun condensor mic with a flat frequency response and a clean off-axis response. It is ideal for guitar, piano, drum and overhead recordings or as an unobtrusive shotgun mic for location work & podcasts
From the photos it’s hard to appreciate just how small the C747 is – it is just 9 mm in diameter, or less than half the diameter of an XLR plug. There’s a 150Hz high-pass filter switch on the body
