The TX816 was responsible for those huge, wide pad sounds heard on big hits of the 80s. With eight modules it’s easy to load the same sound eight times then detune & pan each output, but the beauty of the TX816 is that the modules can be used in any configuration
Each TF1 module has 32 performance memories and 16-note polyphony giving a palette of 256 sounds and 128-note polyphony…
