Nord Micro Modular

Swedish synth maker Clavia introduced their modular system a few years ago. It combines hardware & a software editor with a drag & drop interface to create & edit synth patches. Hardware came in three versions: with a keyboard, a rack version and this Micro modular format

I experimented with some of the presets in the Micro – there are 99 of them – and found a real variety of sounds, from Wave-like wavetable sounds that evolve over time, to soft pads and rhythmic loops. If you like a deep dive into programming the Nord Micro Modular will be right up your street
